Robert S. Victor serves as Senior Vice President of Finance and Business Operations for Comcast Business. In this role Mr. Victor is responsible for financial planning, reporting and analysis; the budget and long range plan; sales operation reporting; and new growth initiatives at Comcast Business. He and his team work closely with field leadership and Cable’s finance organization to develop operating budgets and pursue new opportunities. Formerly Mr. Victor was Senior Vice President of Strategic and Financial Planning for Comcast Corporation, where he oversaw the corporate strategy and financial planning functions. He also co-led the transition of NBCUniversal from GE to Comcast and the integration of NBCUniversal’s and Comcast’s cable channels. In addition, Mr. Victor helped found and lead Comcast’s Financial Management Leadership Program for high potential early-career finance professionals. He has been involved in numerous cross-industry initiatives including advanced advertising, TV-Everywhere, data/analytics, international initiatives across Comcast Cable and NBCUniversal, and developing Cable WiFi, the Cable industry’s nationwide WiFi roaming network. Prior to joining Comcast, Mr. Victor served as a Partner and Managing Director of The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and headed the firm’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications Practice on the East Coast. He led the development and implementation of strategic business transformations for many of the firm’s largest and most sophisticated technology clients. Additionally, Mr. Victor served as a Principal and core member of BCG’s eVentures Group, where he participated in the development of several new internet businesses. He was a founding member of BCG’s Washington, DC, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur offices. Mr. Victor earned an AB degree in Philosophy from Dartmouth College, summa cum laude, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Harvard Law School. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife and two children and serves on the Board of Mastery Charter Schools.
