The son of Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Francis Rooney III of Tulsa. He is the grandson of Mrs. Lucy Rooney and the late Laurence F. Rooney Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Collins. The bridegroom graduated from Cascia Hall Preparatory School and the University of Notre Dame.
