Jin Tian

Mr. Tian joins Tur from Morningstar, where he was the CEO of Morningstar Asia for more than 10 years. At Morningstar, Mr. Tian was responsible for transforming the company’s Asia markets from a one-person office into a sophisticated international organization with more than 1,600 professionals spread across nine locations including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, India, South Korea, and Japan. Prior to his role as CEO of Asia operations, Mr. Tian spent three years as Vice President and Director of Morningstar’s Data Operations, where he successfully reengineered Morningstar’s data processes and reorganized Morningstar’s data operations. Prior to Morningstar, Mr. Tian spent several years as Director of Technology Development and Director of Institutional Planning at DePaul University in Chicago. Mr. Tian was born in China and received a B.A. in English from Hunan University and an M.A. in Linguistics from Wuhan University. He also holds a doctorate in Management and Administration from Auburn University. Mr. Tian currently serves as an independent director on the board of Sinolink Group Co., a public company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
