Sergei Lavrov

Sergei Lavrov, a seasoned diplomat who represented Russia at the United Nations and has been the country’s foreign minister since 2004. Little is publicly known about his wife and adult daughter. Lavrov’s alleged stepdaughter, Polina Kovaleva, was also targeted by sanctions at the end of March by the U.K. government. Kovaleva, a 26-year-old social media influencer, is the daughter of Svetlana Polyakova, alleged to have been in a relationship with Lavrov. She was used to living a luxurious lifestyle in London, buying a $5 million condo in the British capital when she was 21.
