Kathi Garrone

Kathi Garrone joined Pennrose Management Company in June 2015 as Vice President of Compliance. She brings more than 25 years of compliance and property management experience to the role. Her responsibilities include establishing and maintaining relationships with investors, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, public housing agencies, state housing finance agencies, and other regulatory agencies. In addition, Ms. Garrone ensures that all certifications of compliance, which are provided to various housing agencies, investors and other housing partners, are prepared accurately and submitted on-time to housing partners. Prior to Pennrose Ms. Garrone was director of compliance with NDC Real Estate Management, where she developed the LIHTC Compliance Division. She also created all policies, procedures and training manuals, and directed lease up, management, and management takeover of existing LIHTC properties in her 16 years as director of compliance. Ms. Garrone lives and is based in Pittsburgh.
