Drew Aldinger

Counsel to the Office of Property Assessment (OPA) is Drew Aldinger, Senior Attorney. As of October 1, 2010, the OPA is the agency responsible for assessing all real property throughout the City to serve as the basis for the calculation of real estate taxes and is currently undertaking the first comprehensive City-wide reassessment in many years. Drew advises the OPA on various assessment related issues and also defends assessment appeals before the Board of Revision of Taxes. Before joining the Law Department in 2011, Drew was a member of a private law firm for 13 years where he focused on the collection of delinquent City of Philadelphia real estate taxes and prosecuted civil tax foreclosure actions. Before that, he litigated personal injury matters. Drew graduated from The George Washington University Law School with honors and graduated with an accounting degree from Penn State.
