Lap Shun Hui

Lap Shun (John) Hui is the chief strategy officer of Foxconn and became president & CEO of SMART Technologies in January 2017. He also serves as SMART’s Chairman of the Board. John brings over 30 years of experience in business leadership, transformation, strategy and technology to SMART’s executive team. Beyond his work with Foxconn Technology Group, John has been involved with multiple companies in the technology space, including Everex, eMachines, Gateway, Packard Bell and InFocus. A serial entrepreneur, John has acquired, built and sold a number of organizations over his career and continues to seek new opportunities. He studied at the University of Buffalo and received an MBA from McMaster University in Canada.
