Gerald Aresty

Josephine, 71, and Gerald Aresty, 76, a township couple known for their philanthropy to Morristown Memorial Hospital and the Seeing Eye, died in an automobile accident near Groveland, N.Y., in Livingston County on Thursday, Aug. 29 2002. Mr. Aresty was vice president of Alfred Dunner Inc., a family-owned and operated, Parsippany-based business which manufactures a popular brand of women's sportswear. Although they were both born in Rochester, N.Y., the Arestys were longtime Harding residents and prominent members of Morristown's philanthropic community. The couple raised two sons, Jeffrey, who lives with his wife, Patty, in Missoula Mont., and David, who lives with his wife, Patti, in Far Hills.
