I am a board-certified anesthesiologist with clinical practice experience in a variety of settings, academic and private. My sub-specialty expertise is in the field of acute pain management. My special skills include the practice of advanced interventional procedures, such as fluoroscopy-guided epidural acute pain catheters and a wide variety of ultrasound-guided nerve blocks. In my clinical career, I practiced a wide range of anesthesiology and peri-operative care, including: outpatient anesthesia, general operating room anesthesia, acute pain inpatient service management (including inpatient pain crisis management in heavy opioid users), trauma and obstetric anesthesiology, "triage" and board management, pre-operative clinic and post-anesthesia care, and high risk orthopedic anesthesiology. I am currently using my clinical expertise in the biopharmaceutical industry, serving as a full-time physician for Gilead Sciences, Inc.
