Kristin Mendoza

Kristin L. Mendoza has joined the Firm’s New York office as a partner in the Corporate Practice Group. Previously a partner in the New York office of Latham & Watkins LLP, Ms. Mendoza holds an LL.M. from the University of London, a J.D. from Columbia Law School, an A.M. from Harvard University and a B.A. from Yale University. Ms. Mendoza counsels public and private companies, including private equity firms and strategic investors, with regard to domestic and international M&A, dispositions, joint ventures and reorganizations, particularly in the oil and gas, and power sectors. Ms. Mendoza worked for one year as an in-house counsel on secondment to GE Oil & Gas. She covered the Middle East, India and Africa from Doha and Dubai, advising on and negotiating transactions with multinational and state-owned oil companies. Ms. Mendoza also has experience advising on corporate matters across a variety of other industries ranging from transportation to health care.
