Barbara Marx

Barbara and Frank Sinatra married in Rancho Mirage in 1976 and lived in the Sinatra compound at the Tamarisk Country Club on Wonder Palms Road, now Frank Sinatra Drive. The singer had already been living there for almost two decades when Barbara arrived, and previously shared it with the 21-year-old Mia Farrow during their short-lived union. Sinatra moved to Rancho Mirage in 1957 from nearby Palm Springs, after ending his six-year marriage to Ava Gardner. Barbara, who grew up in MIssouri and was once a model and Las Vegas showgirl, was on her third marriage. She died at the age of 90 in 2017.
