Joey M. Loudermilk is executive vice president, general counsel, corporate secretary for Aflac Incorporated. He joined Aflac in 1983 as head of the newly formed Legal department. Mr. Loudermilk worked in private law practice before joining Aflac. In 1988, he assumed responsibility for governmental relations. In February 1989, he became treasurer for Aflac Incorporated’s political action committee (Aflac PAC) and became senior vice president, corporate counsel, for Aflac Incorporated in August 1989. Mr. Loudermilk holds a bachelor’s degree with honors from Georgia State University and a juris doctor degree from the University of Georgia School of Law.
