LARRY DOHRS VP For Asia-Pacific, IRespond Larry Dohrs has worked on behalf of disadvantaged communities in Southeast Asia for nearly 30 years. As VP for Asia-Pacific for iRespond, he oversees several projects, including the second phase of a contract with the Thai government to provide identities for 200,000 migrant workers in the Thai fishing industry, and a new ID2020-supported pilot in the Mae La refugee camp. He has an MA in Southeast Asian Studies from the University of Michigan, and is a visiting scholar on Southeast Asia at Texas Christian University. He serves on the boards of several organizations, advocating for environmental protection in Southern Myanmar, for justice for all of Burma's people, and providing education for migrant children along Thailand's border with Burma/Myanmar.
