Neil Young is the co-founder of the iPhone publisher ng: moco. Before the announcement of the company in June 2008, it was already clear he had left Electronic Arts, the company where he had worked for more than a decade. Young joined EA in 1997, where he ran the ORIGIN Systems, Inc. studio in Austin, Texas with Ultima Online. After that, he created and executive-produced Majestic, one of the first PC games to incorporate ARG (Alternate Reality Game) elements. In 2002, Young helped overlook The Sims birthplace in Maxis as General Manager where he was responsible for delivering The Sims 2. In 2002 and 2003, Young led EA Redwood Shores on the development of the first two Lord of the Rings games – The Two Towers and The Return of the King. He became studio head at Electronic Arts Los Angeles in 2004 as Vice President and General Manager and most recently he oversaw EA Blueprint, an endeavor to lower cost content with smaller teams based on original intellectual property. The last project he was involved in with EA was LMNO, the cancelled game designed together with Steven Spielberg.
