Bought pro football's Washington Redskins for record $750 million in 1999, became a billionaire as the team surged in value. Team's net-of-debt value: $1.6 billion. Snyder's Red Zone Capital owns chunks of Johnny Rockets restaurant chain, Red Zebra Broadcasting and Dick Clark Productions. Recently sued local alternative weekly newspaper over an article he claims was libelous and anti-Semitic.
