Phyllis Segal

is the Vice President of Civic Ventures and an executive education instructor on labor agreement negotiations at Harvard Law School and MIT’s Sloan School of Management. Segal previously served as Chair of the Federal Labor Relations Authority (1994 – 2000), President and Legal Director of the NOW Legal Defense and Education Fund, Chair of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, and Deputy Attorney General of Massachusetts. She is also a Trustee of the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, and a member of the Board of Overseers of the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.
