Nangah Tabah is a second year associate at Jenner & Block. Ms. Tabah is a member of the Firm's Intellectual Property Practice. Ms. Tabah's practice focuses on patent litigation in matters involving polymer science, materials science and process engineering technical issues. In addition to her patent practice, Ms. Tabah maintains a pro bono practice. She represented an inmate in the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in an appeal of his criminal conviction. She prepared briefs in the matter and presented oral argument on the client's behalf. She participated in successfully defending a female client at the trial level in Cook County who was charged with four capital murders. Ms. Tabah earned a Juris Doctor from The University of Iowa in 2009. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Tabah worked at Dow Chemical as a process engineer. Ms. Tabah graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2005, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. Ms. Tabah received the Paul A. Cartwright/IT Alumni Society Outstanding Student Service Award. A passionate HIV/AIDS activist, Ms. Tabah is committed to HIV/AIDS education, prevention, and awareness. She volunteered for the Minnesota Aids Project (MAP) in Minneapolis from 2001 through 2005. Ms. Tabah is a member of the Chicago Bar Association (CBA) and the Cook County Bar Association (CCBA). She is currently serving on the CCBA Job Fair Committee.
