Sander Rue

Sander Rue is a Republican member of the New Mexico State Senate, representing District 23 (Bernalillo County). He was first elected to the chamber in 2008. Rue was a candidate for the Albuquerque City Council in 2001, but was not elected. He also ran unsuccessfully for the New Mexico House of Representatives in 2002. Rue earned his B.B.A. from the University of New Mexico. His professional experience includes working as a small businessman and as a real estate appraiser.
