Paul Weyrich

Paul Weyrich was an American religious conservative political activist and commentator associated with the New Right. He co-founded (along with Edwin Feulner) "The Heritage Foundation"; the "Free Congress Foundation" (FCF); and the "American Legislative Exchange Council" (ALEC); and along with Nelson Bunker Hunt, T. Cullen Davis, William Cies, Howard Phillips helped found the "Council for National Policy" (CNP); coined the term "Moral Majority," the name of the political action group Moral Majority that he co-founded in 1979 with Jerry Falwell.
