Henryk de Kwiatkowski
Palm Beach based polo player
Former Palm Beach regular Barbara de Kwiatkowski has died at 69. Barbara, who was among Andy Warhol’s many muses as well as a writer/part owner for Interview magazine, first came to the attention of Palm Beachers when she was still known as Barbara Allen. Barbara — who counted LaLa Land lotharios Jack Nicholson and Warren Beatty among her past conquests — and her longtime, much-older beau, polo player Henryk de Kwiatkowski, lived among the horsey set at the polo club. They were together for years and eventually married in 1986. Henryk died in 2003. Barbara, who did not remarry, died in her sleep at her New York home.
