C. Timothy “Tim” Branner is Senior Manager, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and Human Resource Compliance with the Carrier Corporation, a United Technologies Corporation (“UTC”) company. In his position, he leads Carrier’s North American EEO and HR Compliance function in addition to his supporting role to the corporations’ employee relations function. As Senior Manager, he is also responsible for providing directional leadership in EEO compliance and reporting, including the development of organizational Affirmative Action Plans, and management of regulatory compliance reviews regarding EEO practices. He previously served United Technologies Corporation’s Commercial Businesses in a dual role supporting both UTC – Climate, Controls & Security System, and the Otis Elevator Company’s EEO and HR Compliance function across the Americas. He joined United Technologies in 2006 with the Otis Elevator Company where he served as Manager, Workforce Diversity & Human Resource Compliance with responsibility for driving diversity initiatives and ensuring ongoing compliance with federal and state equal employment opportunity/affirmative action laws, and requirements. He came to UTC from the INROADS organization, where he spent 15 years in leadership, most recently as the Area Manager for the Western-Tristate and Canada areas. He also served as a National Account Manager with responsibilities for the national partnership with United Technologies. During his time with INROADS, his responsibility included oversight of the organization’s operations in Western Massachusetts, North-Central Connecticut, Upstate New York, and Ontario, Canada. He has served as a national Co-Chair of Tuskegee University’s Business and Industry Cluster, member of Leadership Greater Hartford, member of the Urban League of Greater Hartford Board of Directors, and the Saint Francis Hospital Foundation Board. He has also been a loyal supporter of Tuskegee University. He has served as a volunteer alumni recruiter for the Greater Hartford area, and currently manages United Technologies’ national recruiting relationship with Tuskegee University. He is also an active member of the South Florida Tuskegee Alumni Club. A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, he received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Tuskegee University in 1990. He currently resides in West Palm Beach, FL with his wife Lisa Russell Branner, a graduate of the Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine, along with their youngest son Clinton.
