Cliff oversees the marketing teams dedicated to telling the community about all the ways they can use the platform to express themselves and connect with others. Cliff was named by Business Insider as one of the top 50 most innovative CMOs Adweek’s 10 Best Ads of 2017. Cliff was recognized by the Financial Times as one of the top 100 LGBT+ executives in the world in 2017 for founding the “Pride at Instagram” employee group and for the way that Instagram speaks to the LGBTQ+ community through its programs and advertising. Previously, Cliff led marketing teams at Google, PayPal, and AOL, where he helped grow and engage global audiences.
