Gladys Washington

Gladys Washington is program director at the Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation. She leads the program team and supervises the program officer, program associate, grants manager and program assistant. Washington also oversees grants and PRIs in Gulf Coast Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and the Delta; and leads the program team in planning and learning on public policy grantmaking. Before coming to the Babcock Foundation, Washington was a program officer for the Community Foundation serving Coastal South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. She is the proud mother of four children, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
