Pauline Ng Lee

Pauline Ng Lee is a community activist, organizer and volunteer in the Asian and greater Las Vegas community. Born and raised in Southern California, Pauline received her bachelors of accounting degree from the University of Southern California and her juris doctorate degree from Duke University School of Law in 1989. Throughout her time working with national multi-office law firms, Pauline practiced in the areas of bankruptcy, creditors’ rights and commercial litigation in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Houston. In 1997, Pauline and her family moved to Las Vegas where she joined the law firm of Hale Lane Peek Dennison & Howard, now known as Holland & Hart LLP, and was elected shareholder in 2000. She was co-chair of the Bankruptcy, Insolvency and Restructuring practice in 2001. During her tenure with Hale Lane, Pauline worked on several large commercial and casino bankruptcies, including National Airlines, Resort at Summerlin, and the Aladdin Hotel & Casino. In 1999, Pauline co-founded the Asian Bar Association of Las Vegas. In 2003, the National Asian Pacific Bar Association named her a “Best Lawyer Under 40.” The following year, In Business Las Vegas named her a “Rising Star.” After the birth of her fourth child, Pauline retired from active law practice and volunteers with charitable nonprofits throughout Southern Nevada. In her capacity as an attorney, Pauline served as general counsel with the Asian Chamber of Commerce Foundation and the Asian Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee and was a founding member of the Asian Bar Association of Las Vegas. As a member of a medical family, Pauline served as co-president of the Clark County Medical Society Alliance and the Nevada State Medical Association Alliance, advocating on issues to improve the health of Southern Nevadans. Pauline currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Nevada School of the Arts, a community music conservatory. She is also President of the Nevada Republican Mens Club, which educates its members on current civic policies and promotes sound, honest and conservative values in our government. With her teenage children, Pauline enjoys working community service hours with National Charity League and Young Mens Service League. She currently serves as the Treasurer for the Las Vegas Chapter of Young Men’s Service League. As an advocate for children & education, Pauline serves on the Advisory Board of the Asian Community Development Council where she is the founding organizer of its Annual College Readiness Bootcamp, which provides free college counseling for teens of diverse backgrounds.
