Robert Uithoven

Robert Uithoven is a founding member of Kolesar & Leatham Government Affairs and has over 20 years of public affairs experience in Nevada and Washington, D.C. Mr. Uithoven is a registered lobbyist in Nevada, having served a variety of political candidates and elected officials at the local, state and federal levels and clients in Nevada’s top economic industries. Prior to joining Kolesar & Leatham Government Affaris, Mr. Uithoven founded j3 STRATEGIES in 2007. As the President of j3 STRATEGIES, Mr. Uithoven advised numerous lobbying clients, political candidates and elected officials. Dating back to 1997, he worked on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, for former U.S. Congressman Jim Gibbons (NV-02). There Mr. Uithoven served in a number of positions including communications director, legislative director and eventually chief of staff. In 2006, he served as campaign manager for Gibbons’ successful run for Governor. Prior to his time on Capitol Hill, Mr. Uithoven worked at Bank of America in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Uithoven currently sits on the board of Keystone Corporation, Nevada’s largest conservative business advocacy group. Over his career, he has also been appointed to leadership positions with the Nevada Economic Development Advisory Board, City of Reno Business License Task Force, Nevada Republican Party, Nevada Private Investigators’ Licensing Board and the Reno-Sparks Chamber of Commerce PAC Board. Mr. Uithoven resides in his hometown of Reno, Nevada, with his three sons where he is active in their youth sports and other activities.
