James Gargas

James is a Partner in PwC’s Forensics Practice and an internationally recognized Forensic Accounting Investigator. James’ professional experience includes leading complex corruption, financial statement and asset misappropriation investigations across more than 60 countries and on six continents. James has been a leader in PwC’s GLBT+ diversity efforts for 15 years. He currently serves as the Partner Champion for PwC Shine (GLBT+ Employee Resource Group) and previously served as the chief liaison to PwC’s GLBT+ Partner Advisory Board for continuing to promote full equalization of all benefits for GLBT+ employees. James is a CPA (licensed in Ohio and the District of Columbia), a Certified Fraud Examiner, and is Certified in Financial Forensics by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. James previously served on the Board of Calvary Women’s Services and on the Finance Committee of Whitman-Walker Clinic, both in Washington, DC. James was raised in Ohio and currently resides in Maryland with his Partner, Fabrice Simeon and their adorable dog-ter, Juliana.
