Professor John S. Kane graduated magna cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School, where he served as Executive Editor of the Michigan Journal of Law Reform. He thereafter held a federal judicial clerkship with the United States Court of Appeals after being inducted into the nation’s most prestigious legal honor society, the Order of the Coif. He subsequently served as a percentage partner in the Appellate Advocacy Practice Group of Honigman, Miller, Schwartz, and Cohn before joining academia. After a distinguished career as a Tenured Professor of Law, Professor Kane left academia to devote more of his time to protecting religious liberty through the practice of law.
