James Lusby

James is a Partner in the Mining practice of PwC's Audit and Assurance Group in Toronto. His client work includes audits of a number of Canadian and US public mining companies, which include both large multinational mining companies, where he works with PwC’s global network of mining teams, as well as small junior mining sector companies. James is involved in PwC’s thought leadership on the annual commodities price surveys and the annual review of the junior mining sector in Canada. James is also an IFRS sector champion, having assisted several mining companies in their conversion to IFRS through 2011. He now sits on the CPA Canada Mining Industry Taskforce addressing IFRS issues for mining companies. James qualified as a chartered accountant in England in 2000 and obtained his Ontario designation in 2004.
