Would-be member of the Derus-Rainville-Johnson Minneapolis political dynasty. His cousin Barb Johnson, Barb’s mother Alice Rainville, and Alice’s nephew John Derus held the Minneapolis 4th ward city council seat for a combined 46 consecutive years.
