Wayne T Hockmeyer

Wayne T. Hockmeyer, Ph.D. has served as a Director of Baxter since September 2007. Dr. Hockmeyer was the founder of MedImmune, Inc., a healthcare company focused on the areas of infectious diseases, cancer and inflammatory diseases, and served as chairman and/or chief executive officer of MedImmune from 1988 to 2007. Prior to that, he was vice president of laboratory research and product development at Praxis Biologics Inc. and chief of the Department of Immunology at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. Dr. Hockmeyer also serves as a director of Middlebrook Pharmaceuticals, Inc., GenVec Inc. and Idenix Pharmaceuticals Inc.
