Alex May

Alex is a government and corporate affairs specialist with extensive experience in developing and executing strategic communications and stakeholder strategies and campaigns. Working in senior leadership and executive roles across both the private sector and government, Alex has strong experience in supporting high level negotiations on complex strategic, policy and political matters and is well connected within government and the business community. She has in depth knowledge of the defence sector and international business, having recently worked for global defence giant Naval Group as General Manager – Stakeholder Management and serving on the Executive Leadership Team. She worked for the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Alexander Downer AC and served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of Strategy to the Premier of South Australia, Hon. Steven Marshall MP where she drove key reforms including the abolition of payroll tax for small business, the re-opening of community health facilities and the establishment of the National Space Agency in South Australia.
