Prior to being appointed South African High Commissioner to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Ms Tambo served in Hong Kong and Italy. Nomatemba Tambo is co-founder of the South African Women’s Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Director/Founding Member of Women in Capital Growth (a Black Empowerment Company). She is also a Director of ‘Girls on a Mission’, a Trustee for the Oliver and Adelaide Tambo Foundation, Patron of SchoolAid, South Africa , Patron of The Young Film makers Programme, Patron of the Denis Hurley Association which deals with homelessness in South Africa.
