Gina Johnsen

Elected in the November 2022 Election. Education Johnsen holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Economics from Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA. Professional and personal background Johnsen was the director of the Michigan House of Prayer for 12 years. Gina owns a small insurance business and spent 17 years of her career with Otsuka Pharmaceuticals as a program manager. She is active in grassroots politics and in her community, having worked with Sak Saum (Support for women recovering from Human Trafficking), Crosswalk Teen Center, Forgotten Man Ministries, Protect Life MI, Hannah’s House (Home for young pregnant moms), and Shared Pregnancy Women’s Center.
