About Liz is an independent viticultural consultant and trainer based in the Hunter Valley. She has over 25 years of experience and is well versed in the whole of value chain in the wine industry. Liz is an expert generalist who has significant expertise in pest and disease management, agrochemicals and biosecurity. She works across NSW with small, medium and large grape and wine businesses, and is a contract trainer for Tocal College. Liz is a Roseworthy graduate, Australian Nuffield Farming Scholar and has recently completed her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and is a GAICD. She is a non executive director of the Australian Wine Research Institute and Landcare NSW. Liz received the 2020 Graham Gregory Award from the NSW DPI for outstanding service to the NSW Wine Industry and in 2021 was recognised for her efforts in coordinating the industry’s response to smoke taint by the Hunter Valley Wine and Tourism Association.
