Janine Iyer

Janine is a graduate of Wayne State University with a B.S. in Engineering and worked in the automotive industry for seven years before "retiring" to homeschool her two daughters from K to 12. She has been married for over 31 years and is a 21 year cancer survivor. She became a politically active resident in Spring of 2020 thanks to Gretchen, and in 2021 stepped up to lead Livingston's County Chapters of Stand Up Michigan (SUM) and We the County (WTC). In 2022, Janine was elected to the office of Precinct Delegate, joined the LCRP, and was then elected to the LCRP Executive Committee. She is ready and willing to support the LCRP leadership team and is excited to see to what our team will accomplish over the next two years.
