The Isaac Agree Downtown Synagogue announced the death of synagogue Board President Samantha Woll just after 2 p.m. Saturday October 21 2023. She had been found stabbed outside her Detroit home. She had been a Deputy District Director for U.S. Rep. Elissa Slotkin, D-Lansing in her first term. She also worked in constituent relations at the office of Michigan State Rep. Stephanie Chan. She was also the co-chair of the American Jewish Committee’s ACCESS Detroit Young Leadership Program.
