She is currently undergoing proceedings with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives for behaviour "contrary to one or more of the following Professional Standards: the Responsibility and Accountability Professional Standard, the Client–Focused Provision of Service Professional Standard and the Ethical Practice Professional Standard" for her statements in relation to trans people. She says she isn't transphobic but routinely misgenders people and nonbinary people make an "embarrassing display of narcissism and low intelligence."
