Kimberly A Foerester

Kimberly A. Foerster (Washington, D.C.) is a Managing Director of Perseus. Prior to joining Perseus, Ms. Foerster worked at two leading private equity firms, Castle Harlan, Inc. and Audax Group. At both firms, she was involved in all aspects of the investment process, including identifying investment opportunities, leading business and financial due diligence, and participating in structuring and negotiating of transactions. She has also served on the Boards of Directors of several portfolio companies. From 1993 to 1996, Ms. Foerster worked in the strategic planning group of PepsiCo, Inc., where she was a member of a small team that advised PepsiCo’s CEO and other senior management on strategic and financial initiatives relating to Frito-Lay International. Before PepsiCo, she was in the investment banking division of Goldman, Sachs & Co., where she worked on corporate finance transactions and mergers and acquisitions for companies in a variety of industries. Ms. Foerster is on the Boards of Directors of Pinacl Solutions UK Ltd. and Perseus Books, L.L.C., both Perseus portfolio companies. Ms. Foerster holds a B.A. in English Literature from Rice University and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
