John M Glazer

John M. Glazer (New York) is a Managing Director of Perseus. Prior to joining Perseus, Mr. Glazer worked at CSFB Private Equity, the direct private equity investment division of Credit Suisse First Boston (“CSFB”). While at CSFB Private Equity, Mr. Glazer was responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including identifying and developing opportunities, negotiating and closing transactions, and developing strategic plans and liquidity paths for portfolio companies. Before that, Mr. Glazer worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at CSFB from 1988 to 1990 and from 1995 to 1997. He has served as a director and observer on the Boards of over a dozen companies, primarily in the biotechnology sector. Mr. Glazer serves on the Board of Directors of the following Perseus portfolio companies: Established Brands International, Inc., and Haggar Corp. Mr. Glazer received an A.B., magna cum laude, from Harvard College and a J.D., with distinction, from Stanford Law School. He also clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
