Joanne Marshall Shea

Joanne Marshall Shea (Washington, D.C.) is Assistant Vice President of Legal Affairs. Prior to joining Perseus, Ms. Shea was a legal consultant for XE Capital Management, LLC, a private equity and hedge fund firm. At XE, she managed the formation of a complex international private equity fund focused on real estate investments and the structuring of fund investments in India. Earlier in her career, she worked as an associate for Cooley Godward, LLP (now Cooley Godward Kronish, LLP) representing start-up and later stage private and public companies in the high tech and biotech industries. Ms. Shea holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
