Joel Penton

Joel Penton is the Founder and CEO of LifeWise Academy, a program that provides Bible education to public school students during school hours. After its launch in 2019, LifeWise has quickly grown to serve more than 600 schools across the US in 30 states. Before starting LifeWise Joel founded other nonprofits including Stand For Truth and Relevant Speakers Network, an organization that has touched more than 3,000 public schools and 2 million students nationwide. He is also the author of two books. Joel is a graduate of THE Ohio State University where he played football on three Big Ten Championship teams and one Nation Championship team for the Buckeyes. Joel lives in Hilliard, Ohio with his wife, Bethany, and their five children.
