Bob Harvie was elected to the Board of Bucks County Commissioners in November 2019, and was sworn into office on January 6, 2020. He was named chair of the board on January 5, 2022. Commissioner Harvie was re-elected to a second term in November 2023 and sworn into office on January 2, 2024. During reorganization of the Board, he was named Vice Chair. Born and raised in Bristol Borough, Commissioner Harvie is a lifelong Bucks County resident. After graduating from Bristol High School, Commissioner Harvie attended George Washington University in Washington, D.C., graduating magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in history. He also has a master's degree in education from Holy Family University.
