Chip Skowron

Prior to founding the FrontPoint Healthcare Funds, Dr. Skowron was a Healthcare Analyst at Millennium Partners, LLC and SAC Capital Management, LLC. Dr. Skowron received a M.D. from Yale Medical School, a Ph.D. in cellular and molecular biology from Yale Graduate School and a B.A. from Vanderbilt University with dual majors in chemistry and mathematics. He received his medical training in Boston at the Harvard Combined Orthopedic Residency and the General Surgery Residency Program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and has published original research papers in the areas of organic chemistry, cell biology and genetics. Dr. Skowron has participated in AmeriCares disaster relief efforts since 1995, providing aid throughout the world, including India, Cuba, Kosovo, and New Orleans, Louisiana. He joined the board in 2008.
