Davia B Temin

Temin, who lives in New York City, is president and CEO of Temin and Company, a boutique management consultancy focused on strategic marketing, media, and communications; global crisis and reputation management; thought leadership; and CEO leadership coaching. Prior to founding Temin, she headed corporate marketing for General Electric Capital; Schroders; Scudder, Stevens and Clark; Citicorp Global Investment Bank; and Columbia University Business School. Temin writes for Huffington Post and has a column, "Reputation Matters," on Forbes.com. She recently wrote a chapter for the upcoming Trust, Inc., and is writing a book on crisis management. Temin is currently the first vice chair of the Board of Trustees of The Girl Scouts of The United States of America and chair of fund development, focusing on their $1 Billion Campaign. In addition, she is Chair of the Board of Video Volunteers and serves on the boards or advisory boards of The Committee for Economic Development, Harvard Kennedy School's Women's Leadership Board, Women Corporate Directors, ProPublica, The Knight-Bagehot Fellowship of the Columbia Journalism School, The Economist Intelligence Unit's B2B Marketing, and the City University of New York's graduate school of journalism's health and medicine division. Temin served on the Board of Managers from 1996-2000 before returning in 2013. She has hosted externs almost every year since the program's inception. She holds a B.A. with honors in art history from Swarthmore and attended Columbia University for a Ph.D. in art history and an M.A. in counseling psychology.
