Mr. Mueller began his career with UE in 1961 as an engineer and held various positions with UE and other Ameren subsidiaries during his employment. Mr. Mueller was elected Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Ameren upon its formation in 1997. He was elected Chairman of CILCORP and CILCO in January 2003. Mr. Mueller retired as an officer of Ameren and its subsidiaries on December 31, 2003. Director of the Company since 1997. Other directorships: Angelica Corporation.
