Mr. Fruit has served as Senior Advisor in Marketing, Strategy and Innovation to The Coca-Cola Company since March 2006. He is also President of Gardner Williams Consulting, LLC, an independent marketing consulting firm. Prior to assuming his current position with The Coca-Cola Company, Mr. Fruit served that company in various executive capacities since 1991, including as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer from June 2004 to March 2006. He is a director of the Advertising Council, Inc. and TiVo, Inc. He has been a director of Gannett since February 2007.
