Ms. Elizabeth P. Sartain, Libby served as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer of Yahoo! Inc. from 2001 to 2008. Before joining Yahoo! in 2001, she served as Vice President of People at Southwest Airlines, where she led all human resources functions. She has been a Director of Manpower Inc. since August 2010. She served as Director of Peet's Coffee & Tea, Inc. since October 24, 2007 until October 29, 2012. Ms. Sartain served as the Chairman of the board of the Society for Human Resource Management and was with it since 1988. She has co-authored HR from the Heart: Inspiring Stories and Strategies for Building the People Side of Great Business, Brand from the Inside: Eight Essentials to Connect Your Employees to Your Business and Brand for Talent: Eight Essentials to Make Your Talent as Famous as Your Brand. Ms. Sartain is an active Independent Business Advisor, Conference Speaker and author. She is a recognized leader in the human resources profession. She holds honors from high profile industry organizations. Human Resources Executive magazine named her as one of the 25 most powerful women in HR in 2005. She is a Fellow in the National Academy of Human Resources. Ms. Sartain holds an MBA in Personnel Administration and Industrial Relations from the University of North Texas and a BBA in Organizational Behavior and Administration from Southern Methodist University.
