Joan Lordi Amble

Corporate Comptroller and Executive Vice President of American Express Company since December 2003 and serves as its Principal Accounting Officer. Ms. Amble served as Senior Vice President of American Express Co. since January 5, 2004. She joined Credit Card and Travel Company on January 5, 2004 and oversaw its global control, reporting, and policies functions. She served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of GE ... Capital Markets, a service business within GE Capital Services, Inc., overseen securitizations, debt placement and syndication, as well as structured equity transactions for General Electric Company business. From 1994 to March 2003, she served as Vice President and Controller for GE Capital. Prior to GE, Ms. Amble worked for the Financial Accounting Standards Board from 1984 to 1989 and Ernst and Young LLP from 1977 to 1984. She served as Controller and a Vice President for the Stamford, Conn., unit of General Electric Co. She has been a Director of SIRIUS XM Radio Inc. (formerly known as Sirius Satellite Radio Inc.) since July 2008 and Broadcom Corp. since May 28, 2009. She served as Director of Atari since June 2009, XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. and XM Satellite Radio, Inc. from December 2006 to July 2008. Ms. Amble received a Bachelor's of science in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University and is a Certified Public Accountant of AICPA.
