James F. Barker has served as a director since January 2004. Mr. Barker has served as president of Clemson University since October 1999. He earned his bachelor of architecture degree from Clemson in 1970 and his master of architecture and urban design degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1973. Before returning to Clemson in 1986 to serve as dean of the College of Architecture, he was dean of the School of Architecture at Mississippi State University.
