Responsible for expanding and diversifying New England Development's portfolio of investments, both in real estate as well as non-real estate private equity activities. He sits on several corporate boards, is an Overseer of Newton-Wellesley Hospital, and is a member of the Belmont Hill School Corporation and the Finance Committee. Prior to joining NED in 2002, Mr. Sullivan was the Executive Vice President and CFO of Trizec Hahn, an $8.5 billion public real estate company headquartered in Toronto. Prior to joining Trizec Hahn, Mr. Sullivan was a partner at AEW in Boston where he ran investments for the company's real estate opportunity fund and headed the capital markets group. He also served as a senior finance officer at a Boston-based telecommunications company and as an investment banker in New York. Mr. Sullivan graduated with honors from the University of Vermont and holds a master's degree in business administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
